Ruffle Jacket

This ruffle jacket from Free People combines all of the things that I am loving right now….blush, ruffles and military inspired embellishments. You know how some blazers are stiff and tight and you can’t wait to take them off as soon as you get home? This is the complete opposite. It is so soft and comfy, making it the perfect piece to layer over your favorite camis and blouses all day long. It looks great with jeans right now, but you can transition it to spring with cut-offs or a dress. The white blouse I am wearing is sold out, but I found two other options that I am in love with! The Free People blouse that I linked has a bow at the neck, which I am obsessed with right now.

I am so ready for the weekend after what felt like a really long week. I started a cleanse at the beginning of the week that made me give up my morning coffee habit and that was rough. I only made it two mornings before I decided that giving up coffee is not good for my mental health. My family was less than thrilled with my attitude while I was “cleansing,” so I decided to make that the exception to the rules. I did manage to stick to eliminating carbs and sugar, so I consider that a huge win! I am going to try to stick this out for another two weeks, so I will let you know how it goes! Cheers to the weekend (without sugar and alcohol)!
